Cancelled: John Legend Concert, Budapest Aréna 30 June 2022
John Legend cancelled his summer concert in Budapest. The June 30 performance of the multiple Grammy-winning soul R&B performer, who would have been at the Sports Arena, is delayed due to the Ukrainian-Russian war.

The tour would have started from Kiev via Poland and Hungary to Western Europe. The current situation in the war does not allow this to be achieved, so the concert in Budapest will be missedsaid organizer Green Stage Production on Monday. As written, tickets redeemed will be redeemed.

Multiple Grammy and Oscar-winning American soul and R&B performer John Legend, known for his acclaimed albums as “All of Me”, “Get Lifted,” and "Love in the Future".

A child prodigy, Legend's grandmother taught him how to play the piano, and he grew up singing in the church choir, after he went on to attend the University of Pennsylvania, where he directed a co-ed a cappella group. He was soon introduced to up-and-coming hip-hop artist Kanye West, and the two musicians collaborated on one another's demos.

John Legend is a musician and songwriter who has worked with such artists as Alicia Keys, Twista, Janet Jackson and Kanye West.

After two more solo albums, he released his collaboration with the Roots, Wake Up!, in 2010. Legend also appeared on the TV competition Duets as a coach before dropping his next album, 2013's Love in the Future.

The artist shared an Academy Award, a Golden Globe and a Grammy with Common for their song "Glory," from the 2014 film Selma, and later received an Emmy for his performance in the 2018 production of Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert.

Legend released Bigger Love on June 19, 2020. “During these painful times, some of us may wonder if it’s ok to laugh or dance or be romantic,” he said. Through our art, we are able to do that. This album is a celebration of love, joy, sensuality, hope and resilience, the things that make our culture so beautiful and influential.”

The artist's best hits will be heard at the concert in Budapest in June 2022.

The concert is organized by Green Stage Production. The motto of Green Stage Production is:
