A Budapest visit by the European Parliament Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) "is part of a pact" between opposition Tisza Party and Brussels, an official of the ministry of EU affairs said on Wednesday, adding that Brussels wants to have a puppet government to lead Hungary.
The government has decided to withdraw from the International Criminal Court (ICC), the minister heading the Hungarian Prime Minister's Office announced today.
The European Commission stands with the LGBTQ community in Hungary, and in every other EU member state, the European Commissioner for Democracy, Justice and Rule of Law, said in a plenary session of the European Parliament.
"There is no middle ground; it is either the Pride or Orban," Ferenc Gyurcsany, the leader of the opposition Democratic Coalition (DK), said on Facebook.
