'Tokaj Wine Days', Weekend Festival in Tokaj, N.E. Hungary, 3 - 5 June
The beautifully renovated Kossuth Square will provide the central venue and will play host to the big stage, upon which the traditional ceremony of handing over the Mayors’ wine will take place on Saturday the 4th from 2pm.

The weekend will feature great music throughout, with jazz concerts from Vivat Bacchus, Hegyalja Folk, the Coffee Break band, and more, as well as showcasing regional art groups and a fashion show featuring embroidered clothes.

The streets of the main square will be lined with vendors and craftsmen as part of the „gastronomic promenade”, with local wineries also awaiting those who are interested. Exhibiting wineries include: Ászok Wine House, Late Cellar, Royal Tokaji, Benkő Wine House, Paulay Wine House, Gróf Degenfeld Vineyard and Castle Hotel.

There will also be a special matinee performance at the Paulay Ede Theater on Sunday June 5th from 11 a.m., with the Nectar Theater performing their medieval fairytale, King Matthias’ Honey Wine.
