“Brussels Wants to Re-Settle Migrants by Force in Hungary" Complains Orbán
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has vehemently objected to a planned reform of the EU refugee affairs system that requires countries to pay a fee if they do not accept refugees.

Announcing the agreement between most EU countries on Thursday, Sweden’s migration affairs minister Maria Malmer Stenergard said the mechanism provides an opportunity for member states to choose between various forms of solidarity.

Under the new system a member state can admit a defined number of refugees or instead pay a solidarity contribution of €20,000 per refugee to help front-line countries to deal with mass migration.

The EU would distribute an estimated 30,000 refugees annually among the member states under this system.

Orbán wrote on his Facebook page: “Brussels is abusing its power. It wants to re-settle migrants by force in Hungary. This is unacceptable. They want to make Hungary a country of immigrants by force”.
