Residents-Only Parking Introduced in Budapest's 12th District
A new parking system has been introduced by the 12th District, in addition to the Second District, allowing parking spaces exclusively for local residents, effective October 15, according to the Buda district’s website.

The district says the scheme is designed to make parking easier for local residents and reduce parking problems for those living on the edge of the pay parking zone.

In the new system, designated parking spaces can only be used by local residents throughout the day (0-24 hours).

Drivers can receive a waiting permit for a maximum of one car, and parking permits can be issued for a maximum of two cars at one address.
