ISD’s educational philosophy extends beyond the classroom, emphasizing the integration and enhancement of after-school activities.

These endeavors go beyond mere enrichment; they’re intrinsic to ISD’s holistic approach to education.

With a curriculum shaped by the IB’s principles, ISD offers more than just rigorous academics. It provides a platform for students to explore, experience, and evolve beyond the classroom.

A Glimpse into ISD’s Extracurricular Activities:

Arts & Creativity: Among the varied artistic opportunities at ISD, students can partake in drumming sessions, engage in therapeutic diamond painting, embark on beginner guitar lessons, or explore numerous other artistic mediums.

Physical Activities & Sports: Just a few of the athletic options include an open-to-all running club, gymnastics classes for varying skill levels, football training sessions, Modern Dance lessons, adult yoga classes, and a unique Jazz Dance & Ballet fusion program.

Academic & Skill-based Clubs: Highlighting some of the academic enrichments, there’s the Math Club with its captivating topics, the Student Council offering a voice in school operations, a dive into the technological realm of 3D design and printing, and a board games club with games apt for all age brackets.

Global Awareness: A standout in global education, the Model United Nations (MUN) program, serves as a platform for students to delve deep into global issues. Here, they get to interact with peers both locally and from other countries, gaining a nuanced perspective on diplomacy and international challenges.

Out of 259 students, an impressive tally of over 200 immerse themselves in these activities. This robust participation underscores ISD’s commitment to offering a diverse array of over 30 unique activities. At ISD, it’s not merely about broadening horizons; it’s about cultivating passions, nurturing talents, and shaping holistic individuals prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.
