Ruling Fidesz has launched an “outdoor” campaign of putting out billboards and distributing leaflets in preparation for the upcoming European parliamentary and municipal elections, the communications director of the party said in a video on Facebook on Sunday.
Hungary and the Dominican Republic have formed “an alliance to protect their citizens against the hazards of illegal migration” in the face of “hypocritical international pressure”, the foreign minister said in Santo Domingo on Thursday.
Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi has phoned Péter Szijjártó, Hungary’s minister of foreign affairs and trade, Szijjártó said on Facebook, adding that the talks focused on the security crisis in the Middle East.
Hungary will continue to reject migrants and will maintain the legal and physical border seal, regardless of the EU migration pact, the foreign minister said on Wednesday, ahead of the debate. Speaking at a town hall meeting in Paks, in central Hungary, Péter Szijjártó said the migration “is green-lighting illegal migration”.
