You’re invited to experience one of Hungary’s most treasured culinary traditions at the 25th Gyula Pálinka Festival, set in the charming gardens of Gyula Castle in southern Hungary.
From 6–8 June, this lively three-day event puts pálinka – Hungary’s iconic fruit brandy and proud Hungarikum – in the spotlight. Visitors can sample a wide selection of high-quality pálinkas from top distilleries across the country, while enjoying concerts by big-name bands like Bagossy Brothers Company, Valmar, and Hooligans.
A major highlight is the Brillante 2025 International Pálinka and Distillate Competition, where elite producers go head-to-head. Another standout tradition is the National Unity Pálinka, crafted from distillates from Hungary and abroad, changing fruit each year.
Food lovers will enjoy the “Farmer and Pálinka in the Kitchen” program, featuring cooking demos and tastings, plus a charity cooking contest, festive parade, and family-friendly entertainment.
Live music, good food, and the finest pálinka – all in a stunning historic setting.
Entry tickets are still available on-site, though online sales are already sold out, according to organisers.
