There's been something of a right wing love-in in Hungary this week, as Budapest hosted a Conservative Political Action Conference - or CPAC - gathering of American and European populists and conservatives. President Trump heaped praise on Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who's seen as a populist playbook for the White House.

Orbán recently doubled down on his agenda - banning the capital’s Pride march and proposing a law that could shut down independent media. But with his rival Peter Magyar surging in the polls - are those actions a sign of strength or weakness?

    The pro-government Civil Union Forum (CÖF) and its associated Civil Union Foundation (CÖKA) have officially announced a "Peace March" (Békemenet) to be held on the March 15 national holiday.
