Unusually High Price: Fifth District In Budapest To Sell 19 Properties

Budapest’s Fifth District has put 19 properties up for sale, mostly offices and commercial spaces in central locations, according to corruption watchdog group K-Monitor.

The listings, which close on August 4 and 14, include assets ranging from a 78m2 flat for at least Ft 46.8 million to a 1,000m2 complex with an asking price of Ft 1.2 billion.

Detailed information is only available via an investor sheet sold by the Sándor Law Firm for Ft 300,000.

Analysts observe that the unusually high price for tender documentation could curb competition.
