Number of Jobseekers Edges Lower in Hungary

The number of registered jobseekers in Hungary stood at 220,956 in July, down by more than 3,000 from the same month a year earlier, the National Economy Ministry said on Thursday, citing data from the National Employment Service (NFSZ).
Sandor Czomba, the state secretary for employment policy, said European Union-supported programmes had helped over 46,000 jobseekers find work.
