Home Sales Climb Over 20% in Hungary this August

Home sales in Hungary climbed 21.9pc year-on-year to 11,369 in August, a monthly estimate by listed real estate broker Duna House shows.
Home sales were up 19.8pc from the previous month as purchases were brought forward ahead of the September launch of the Home Start subsidised credit scheme for first-time home buyers.
Duna House estimated that mortgage outlays came to HUF 120bn in August, up 9.7pc from the same month a year earlier.
