Multiple Food Trucks in Hungary Fined by Consumer Protection Watchdog
The National Authority for Trade and Consumer Protection (NKFH) has inspected 413 food trucks and mobile street food vendors as part of a nationwide probe and issued a combined HUF 17m of fines for violating regulations, NKFH said on Wednesday.

NKFH uncovered 43 cases of violating hygiene regulations, in 41 cases there were issues with documentation and administrative processes and there were 32 cases of technical problems.

The popularity of mobile catering is growing each year, so it is important that consumers have access to safe and good quality food in all circumstances, NKFH added.
