2. Have you ever been an expatriate elsewhere?
I was an International brat leaving the UK aged 8 and have travelled the globe since, am still trying to get to South America, the nearest I got was Belize.

3. What surprised you most about Hungary?
How young, cosmopolitan and vibrant it is.

4. Friends are in Budapest for a weekend - what must they absolutely see and do?
Spend time sitting outside at cafes watching the world go by, taking in the atmosphere plus the entertainment. Go to the Opera House, the building is fabulous and the shows reasonably priced, then on to one of the many restaurants.

5. What is your favourite Hungarian food?
Anything to do with goose.

6. What is never missing from your refrigerator?
Hungarian Rosé wine.

7. What is your favourite Hungarian word?
Csókolom

8. What do you miss the most from home?
Cadbury’s Hot chocolate and would you believe British TV, never thought I would say that!

9. What career other than yours would you love to pursue?
Difficult one – it would always have involved working with people, they are so entertaining and humour is important to me.

10. What's a job you would definitely never want?
Working in an office, very claustrophobic for me.

11. Where did you spend your last vacation?
South of France

12. Where do you hope to spend your next one?
In Australia visiting friends

13. What was your favourite band, film, or hobby as a teen?
I recently I found a photograph of myself taken in my bedroom during my teenage years and there in the background was a poster of Herman and the on the wall – did I really like them?

14. What can't you resist?
Chocolate and I also have a weakness for Irish whisky

15. Red wine or white?
Red

16. Book or movie?
Normally book

17. Morning person or night person?
Definitely not morning, is there such a thing as an in-between person?

18. Which social issue do you feel most strongly about?
Injustice & poverty, particularly where children are concerned.

19. Buda side or Pest side?
Live on the Buda side but find Pest very interesting.

20. What would you say is your personal motto?
Just get on with it, you only get one chance at life.
