On May 25 Hungary will hold its election for the European Parliament. The government party opted to hold the national election on April 6 and a separate EP election seven weeks later. The Hungarian State Opera House will host a tribute concert to celebrate the birth centenary of world-renowned Hungarian pianist Annie Fischer on April 14. Pianists Jenő Jandó, Tamás Vásáry, Ilona Prúnyi and Katalin Falvai will play solos accompanied by the Solti Chamber Orchestra to commemorate the artist, who died in 1995, Vásáry told a press conference in Budapest.
