My friends and logistical supporters Akos and Nori were still going down for the weekend to Balatonalmadi, so I tagged along for a relaxing weekend. "Due to the forecasts about bad weather (strong winds, etc.) the event at 24th of July has been cancelled!
The NEW planned date for the cross-swimming is the 31st of July. New information about this opportunity will be on Thursday at 1 PM!

"Last year Kevin Jackson and Treehugger Dan did the 5.2km Balaton Swim for charity, the beneficiary being the Hungarian Fair Trade Campaign of local NGO Vedegylet. Dan is going to do it again this year on July 24th.

"Last year Kevin Jackson and Treehugger Dan did the 5.2km Balaton Swim for charity, the beneficiary being the Hungarian Fair Trade Campaign of local NGO Vedegylet. The charity swim was so successful that many said that we should put together a Fair Trade Team to do the swim in August, 2010.
