Budapest’s iconic Sziget Festival has revealed a major new round of performers for its 2026 edition, adding more than 40 acts across multiple genres and significantly strengthening what is already shaping up to be one of the summer’s most diverse festival programmes.

On the Day of Hungarian Culture (22 January), the Janus Pannonius Museum (JPM) in Pécs launched the “Vasarely 2026 – Pécs” jubilee season. The programme marks two milestones: the 120th anniversary of the birth of Victor Vasarely and the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Vasarely Museum in Pécs.
