The event is expected to draw both experienced skaters and newcomers looking for a lively summer programme in one of Buda’s best-known cultural settings.

The Friday programme begins in the late afternoon, with workshop sessions scheduled from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, followed by a skate party from 8:00 pm until 11:00 pm.

According to the organisers’ listing, the event will take place at MOMkult, specifically on the Sirály Promenade, making it an easy-to-reach venue for those coming from across Budapest.

Skate Land Budapest has been presented as Hungary’s first international rollerskating festival, and the 2026 edition continues that idea with a mix of learning, music and social skating.

The festival’s line-up is designed to appeal to a broad audience, from people who already skate regularly to those simply curious about trying something different during the summer.

Alongside concerts, outdoor screenings and neighbourhood festivals, Skate Land adds a more unusual option that combines sport and nightlife without feeling overly formal or exclusive.
