Responding to the prime minister’s remarks, Socialist group leader Bertalan Tóth said rather than hindering a solution to the crisis the European community is the “sole potential solution”.

The Fidesz parliamentary group said that “while Hungary and Europe are being overrun with illegal migrants”, the left was still “clowning around and filing complaints” instead of doing “meaningful and responsible work”.
