Belfast based construction business Gilbert-Ash Fit-Out has been appointed by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) to complete a significant refurbishment project for the British Embassy in Budapest, in a contract worth £2m.
The project, which will begin in July 2016, will see the company working in its 40th country with the FCO.

According to the original plans, the constructions work should had finished as far back as February this year, however, it took a few months more than expected. Anyway, the square got ready by May and now it has a really modern and pretty face.

The number of home building permits issued in Budapest rose by 78% to 1,280. In county seats and cities with over 50,000 residents, the number climbed 145% to 1,296.
