The English group Portico Quartet, which is playing at Müpa Budapest for the second time, successfully experiments with jazz, electronica, ambient and minimalism to create a hypnotic sound from a saxophone, bass guitar, live drums and electronic instruments - alongside the Hang, a steel drum shaped like a UFO.
‘Finnish Restaurant Day’ Returns On 12 May

This relatively new 'Restaurant Day' initiative organised by the Finnish Embassy and Finnagora has already become something of a tradition in Hungary. In 2018 the event profile has been updated and instead of traditional food the organisers will be serving up contemporary Finnish cuisine in the Hungarian capital.

Less than half of the adult population in Hungary believe that people across the world have more things in common than things that make them different, she reports.
