The Hungarian National Dance Theater's annual festival is always held around the 29th of April, which is the International Day of Dance. Also as usual, this fab festival features a wide mix of dance styles, ballet, contemporary, folk, and more. A range of venues around Budapest welcome local and international dance companies, for a ten day period.

Outkast, Manic Street Preachers and The 1975 were all new acts confirmed to appear in Hungary this summer, Sziget organizers revealed this week at a press event. They join acts announced earlier such as Queens of the Stone Age, The Prodigy, Macklemore, Imagine Dragons, Bastille, Skrillex, Placebo, Lily Allen and The Kooks. Hollókő, the most beautiful gem in the gently rolling Palóc scenery, has been a World Heritage Site since 1987. The embracing slopes of the Cserhát hills have protected the small houses hiding in a valley from the gales of history, so the village has been able to preserve its authentic charm.
