Addressing a World Water Week conference in Stockholm, the Hungarian president said that “the world has now understood the impact of climate change but not of the water crisis”.

Austria must accept Hungary’s right to decide for itself how to supply its energy needs, the government commissioner for the upgrade of Hungary’s nuclear plant in Paks said in an interview published in the Tuesday issue of Austrian daily Der Standard.

According to Hungarian authorities, there is “no one by the name of Ghaith Pharaon” residing in Hungary, an interior ministry official told the daily Magyar Idők. If, however, Pharaon enters Hungary’s territory and it turns out that he is the Saudi businessman who is wanted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), he will be arrested immediately, state secretary Károly Kontrát told the paper.
