Unlike Prague, Budapest is not known for being home to many public parks. So András Györfi took matters in his own hands and created a self-proclaimed Tree Commando to make the Hungarian capital just a little bit greener. Having already planted up to 250 trees personally, András believes that everyone should do their part to help save the environment. He certainly has.

We would like to introduce you an unconventional conference, the TEDxDanubia. This is the first official, independently organized TEDx event in Hungary based on the legendary TED conferences. The goal of the conference is to bring together the most exciting, most innovative and most inspiring thinkers and creators of the region and cross the lines of our everyday lives.
