Altogether 10,434 homes were sold in Hungary in November, up 49% from a year earlier, real estate broker Duna House’s fresh estimate shows. The number of homes sold was down from 11,692 in October, but up from 10,052 in September.

Food sales expanded 5% from December 2013 to May 2014, both by volume and value, market researcher Nielsen reports. Volume had declined by 4% from December 2012 to May 2013, although sales remained level in terms of value.
