Metro M2 Will Not Serve Kossuth Tér For 3 Months

For a period of about three months from the start of this December, metro line M2 will not serve the Kossuth Lajos tér M in either direction, due to the demolition of the MTESZ building. From Deák Ferenc tér, Kossuth Lajos tér can be reached by replacement bus M2A. Additionally, BKK provides a new shuttle-boat service, line D2 between Batthyány tér and Kossuth Lajos tér.

The Hungarian Islamic Community has asked the Constitutional Court to investigate a local government decree passed in the border town Ásotthalom that bans practices of the Muslim faith there, according to news portal index.hu. The community believes the measure is against the constitution.
