According to the latest data from the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH), more than 255,000 foreign nationals were officially registered as residents at the start of 2025. While the number of foreign citizens and expats living in Hungary continues to grow, many young Hungarians are choosing to move abroad in search of better work and lifestyle opportunities.
