Wizz Air To Fly From Budapest To Tel Aviv, Kiev

From December, low cost airline Wizz Air will fly to Tel Aviv and Kiev three times a week, having received permission for the flights for an unspecified period from the authorities. The new routes expect to have 2 million passengers annually, CEO József Váradi said on Monday. Further rights for flights to Moscow and Istanbul are expected within two months, he added.

Budapest Airport has converted the area in front of the now disused Terminal 1 into a Park and Ride facility, with parking for 128 vehicles, it was announced on Friday. The train station connecting Liszt Ferenc International Airport to the city’s Nyugati station is only a two-minute walk from the parking area, spokesman Mihály Hardy noted.
