As we know only too well, teachers’ salaries are extremely low in Hungary and teachers haven’t had a raise since the 2008 financial crisis. Given the fairly high inflation rate, at least until recently, the already very low living standards of teachers have further deteriorated in the last five years.

I once spoke to a movie director who frequently comes to Budapest to record films here. She told me that every time she visit Budapest she puts on weight because food is so fat and unhealthy here. In the hotel the cereals had chocolate in them and lots of similar things makes it hard for people eat and live healthy. If you however desire to eat and live healthy, how to do so in Budapest?

Hungary’s sensational presentation did the job! The FINA (the International Swimming Federation) Bureau, which began meeting in Barcelona on July 19, chose Hungary to host the World Aquatics Championships scheduled for 2021.
National Philharmonic’s Open Air Beethoven Concerts In Martonvásár, Hungary

It has been 55 years since the first concert was given in the grounds of Martonvásár Manor House, the former residence of the Brunszvik family, under age-old lime trees only 32 km from Budapest. Besides the National Philharmonic these concerts feature excellent artists from Hungary and abroad.
