I was immediately transported back to Thailand, a country I travelled around for three months and love. Now I've just fallen in love with this new Thai joint in Budapest.

By Debrecen Zoo and amusement park: The little Giant is a boy and was born to mom, Emma from Wilhelma Zoo Stuttgart and dad, Sylvester from Allwetterzoo Münster. Despite a delivery without difficulty Mother Emma did not provide appropriate maternal behaviour, so hand-rearing became necessary.

I first visited Budapest in 1982. I came with some friends on the overnight train from Warsaw, where I was working at the British Embassy. Howling dogs and misty border crossings - it was like living in a John le Carré novel. Budapest was shrouded in freezing fog all weekend but I still fell in love with the city.
