250 Kosovar migrants travelling without travel documents were taken down from a Munich-bound RailJet train at a railway station in Győr, western Hungary, this morning. The migrants, many of them children, were asked to produce their IDs, which they were unable to do.

Rembrandt and the Painting of the Dutch Golden Age, a large-scale exhibition to run in the Museum of Fine Arts from 1 November surveys the period of 17th-century Dutch art, one of the golden ages of European culture. The exhibition is built around Rembrandt, the greatest master of the period, by whom 20 masterpieces will be on display.

German airline Lufthansa is cancelling a number of its Budapest flights on Tuesday because of a strike by pilots. A number of flights between Budapest and Frankfurt as well as Munich have been cancelled, according to the website of Liszt Ferenc International Airport operator Budapest Airport.

Some 55% of Hungarians surveyed by recruitment agency profession.hu said they would like to live abroad but only 21% said they were actively seeking employment outside Hungary. Profession.hu was the Hungarian partner in a global survey dubbed Decoding Global Talent prepared by Boston Consulting Group and The Network by interviewing 200,000 people.
