Pre-tax profit rose significantly from 21 billion forints in the first ten month a year earlier, but was still historically low. A large part of the ten-month profit was generated by one single bank.

In Kaposvar, in the southwest, temperatures reached 16.3 degrees C in the afternoon, exceeding the previous high of 13.8 C for the same time of year in Hungary, as seen in 1919.
