I really didn’t think that László Köver, president/speaker of the Hungarian parliament, could still surprise me. Yet he manages. Here is his latest. By way of preface, I should note that there are some commentators who say that one ought not take Kövér terribly seriously. He is just this kind of a fellow. Perhaps his bark is worse than his bite.

Opened in 1992 and renewed in 1997, it prides itself on being a typical Chinese restaurant, using a reddish-brownish color as the base, red lanterns providing decorative elements and traditional Chinese music, which culminate to give a truly East-Asian atmosphere.

The surface reinstatement of the Fővám tér and Kálvin tér related to the M4 Project has been completed. Following technical handover, both squares in their entirety – except the metro exits – are returned to pedestrians. The completion of the works, the road building and the construction of the catenary, has made it possible for the no. 83 trolley to run along its original route.
