The Media Council of the media authority NMHH has rejected complaints that a documentary on Roma aired on March 7 was discriminatory, the NMHH announced. The film “Gipsy Way” by director László Pesty generated protests from individuals and organisations after it was broadcast on state television channel M1.

AI's report failed to cover the major steps Hungary has taken to enforce human rights over the past two years while remaining silent about insults to ethnic Hungarians abroad, the ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
