Two new venues were added to this year's festival, two beautiful synagogues: one on Bethlen square and one in Hegedűs Gyula street. Organisers told XpatLoop, "this year’s multi-arts festival will have a wide variety of events featuring literature, music, dance, and children’s show for the youngest audience."

Sziget Festival Briefly Suspends Entry Over Abandoned Bag On First Festival Day

Guests were temporarily prevented from entering the Sziget Festival yesterday due to a security alert when an unattended rucksack was discovered near the entrance. While examining the package, police stopped visitors from entering and herded them onto neighbouring streets.

August 20th is Hungary's National Day commemorating King Stephen, the first king of the Hungarian sand the founder of the Hungarian state. He led in the Catholicism with the protection of Rome. He was canonised and became St. Stephen on 20th August 1083. On this day the whole country celebrates with concerts, Holy Mass and fireworks.

Ádám Susánszky and Eszter Csanda began with their first food truck three years ago, and they have built a small chain by today. They are making burger fans happy and proving that fast food does not have to be unhealthy.
