Extreme long-distance swimmer Attila Manyoki has been the first Hungarian to successfully tackle Lake Taupo, New Zealand's largest lake, as part of the Stillwater Eight marathon swimming challenge he told MTI.

The Puskás Stadion will be the only completely new stadium among the 12 host venues for UEFA Euro 2020. Some 1,000 volunteers will work during the tournament in the Hungarian capital city, which is also playing host to the UEFA Women’s Champions League final in 2019.

Fresh back from the Nevada desert, Budapestians Daniel Kaali and William Clothier both return with top 100 places out of 1655 competitors and 12th and 13th respectively in their age groups. Daniel managed a 58th overall finish, which although already a top 4% finish is down from his 2016 placing of 17th overall.
World Aquatics Championships A Great Success So Far

According to Minister for National Development Miklós Seszták, the required tasks have been completed, the Budapest World Aquatics Championships are in progress and can be regarded as a great success so far.
