The royal Danish capital has just been crowned the best city in the world for quality of life. Copenhagen grabbed top spot for its cutting-edge design credentials amongst other factors including the number of cinema screens and ease of getting a quality glass of wine at 1am.

The second Caledonia Eurovision Party was another great success. Friends travelled from Vienna to join in the fun and mingled with guests from all over Europe as regular customer Terry W compered a fun filled party. Tania Demchvk won first prize - a FoxAutorent car for the weekend - for her careful predictions on who would win. Roll on next year.

Also included in this trip, booked via the helpful staff at the Sheraton Moriah Tel Aviv, was a journey to Bethlehem. The ‘City of Jesus’, proved to be equally amazing as expected. As these days it’s under the control of the Palestinian National Authority we left our Israeli guide behind and met up with a friendly Arab who showed us around this town of just 27,000 inhabitants.
