Viktoria, the first film of the talented Bulgarian female writer, Maya Vitkova won the 8000-euros Breaking Waves Award of the 21st Titanic. It might not be obvious but Hungarian and Turkish music history and folk music have a lot in common. This concert presents two excellent Turkish musicians and introduces Turkish music to the audiences. Composed by Ahmed Adnan Saygun, the ‘Bartók of Turkey’ in 1975, Ritual Dance melts elements of Western music and Turkish authentic folk music in a unique way.
