The Workgroup on reducing public utility charges including gas and electricity, water, sewage, refuse collection and chimney sweeping, held its first session yesterday. According to Mayor of Debrecen Lajos Kósa, a member of the Workgroup and Vice President of the Fidesz party, the goal is a 10 percent reduction, although the position of service providers must also be taken into consideration.

The recent innovations include a bus that may be deployed in extreme circumstances too, Zoltán Borbíró, the Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence told the Hungarian News Agency MTI in an interview.
