This is the fourth year running that B.my.Lake, also known by some as the 'Mecca of electronic music', takes place to round off the summer season with a boom. Since its debut in 2013, B my Lake has become one of Hungary’s most popular festivals, and the #1 summer destination for lovers of electronic music.

The Festival of Folk Arts (Mesterségek Ünnepe) brings the finest Hungarian craftsmen and their work to Buda Castle from across the country. They bring a variety of different folk crafts ranging from woodcarving to egg painting. Visitors can partake in many of the activities, as well as enjoy live folk music and dance performances.
One of the biggest and the most popular cultural events outside Budapest, the Flower Carnival celebrates its 50 anniversary this year. The one-week-long festival offers a wide range of possibilities to spend&enjoy your time in Debrecen. Besides the national performers, cultural goups from all over the world creat a real Carnival-feeling during the whole week.
The 'Zempléni Fesztivál' celebrates its 25th anniversary this year with an outstanding program of musical events. The first major festival established in the Tokaj Wine Region brings some of Hungary’s best talent together for a week and a half of music. Classical, jazz, folk, church – you’ll find something to your taste in inspired and unusual venues from castles to hunting lodges, churches to synagogues, wineries to cafés, even disused quarries.
Here's a quick summary of what's officially going on this Saturday, the 'National Holiday of the Foundation of the Hungarian State'. Firstly for interest, a few facts about 'King Stephen the State Founder': <br><br>Stephen The First (997–1038) was the last Grand Prince of the Hungarian Conquerors in the Carpathian Basin, and the first Christian King of Hungary, crowned by Pope Sylvester II. King Stephen had fought for the unity of Hungary against pagan Hungarian warriors, and also for the independence of the Hungarian Kingdom against Western European troops. He brought Christianity to the country and established a legal system. Thus the 20th August in Hungary is both a large scale National and Christian holiday - much loved by Hungarians, especially due to the amazing annual fireworks.
