Under a plan targeted to be completed in 2025, Budapest’s health system will be totally revamped, with three “super-hospitals” built and all existing hospitals brought up to date, the daily Magyar Idők said.
The plan dovetails with another big project to incorporate to a significant extent the research and educational work of Budapest’s Semmelweis University into day-to-day health services, the paper said, citing Péter Cserháti, ministerial commissioner for the Healthy Budapest Programme.
