"Homeless Jesus” Sculpture Unveiled
Cardinal Péter Erdõ consecrated the statue of a homeless Jesus laying on a bench near the church on Horváth Mihály tér in Budapest’s Eighth District on Tuesday.

The sculpture is a copy of a work by Canadian artist Timothy Schmalz which first appeared in Toronto in 2013, followed by replicas in other towns.

The sculpture was funded by donations collected by the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta, which will tour the sculpture around Hungary.
