Hungary Among Countries Affected By Recall Of French Baby Formula
- 18 Jan 2018 7:05 AM
The Hungarian authority had announced on Sunday that the recall due to suspected Salmonella contamination did not affect the company’s products sold in Hungary, but the company has since extended its recall to include all products supplied by its plant in Craon, western France, regardless of the date of manufacture or product type.
Citing information from the European Union’s rapid alert system RASFF, Nébih said the French company’s products have been also supplied to Hungary.
The authority said it is checking the affected products and will release more detailed information as soon as it is available.
