Budapest's Gourmet Festival Cancelled Due To Coronavirus
Organisers say it is 'with the great sadness' that due to the ongoing epidemic, and its 'unforeseeable consequences', the annual Gourmet Festival will not take place this year.

From the Gourmet Festival organisers:

"After closely following government actions and consulting with the authorities and our partners, we have concluded that we will unfortunately not be able to organize Electrolux Gourmet Festival at a later date this year.

As safety always comes first, we had been monitoring all local and international developments before making this difficult decision with which we take responsibility for our visitors, exhibitors as well as our staff.

We are devastated that we cannot give you the Gourmet experience we had planned, but we look forward to celebrating the best of the Hungarian gastronomy together in 2021. Until then, let’s get down to cooking and have some incredible dishes!"

See you next year!
