Kormendi, who survived the Holocaust, was born 1923 in his parents' Budapest apartment, and he has been practicing medicine there since 1950, reports CGTN Europe.

Although he formally retired in 1989, Kormendi still treats patients at this 'apartment clinic', and he has no plans of quitting saying: 

"It's my passion, I want to heal my patients as long as I am fit to do so."
