Festival Of Folk Arts', Royal Buda Castle, 20 – 22 August
Beside to the 800 Hungarian handicraft masters for many years the Association has hosted masters from foreign countries. In this year from the Turkic speaking states will arrive participants to the festival.

The acknowledged masters of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan will come and present their knowledge and handicraft heritage.

During the 3 days the attendees among others can meet with Azeri carpet weaver, Kazakh jewelry designer, Kyrgyz traditional costume designer, Turkish Ebru artist, Uzbek Batik artist and Tatar leather makers.

As part of the State Ceremonies in this year won’t be admission fee for entering the Festival of Folk Arts.

    On display until 31 March. The Várkapitányság is marking the 80th anniversary of the Siege of Budapest with a poignant outdoor photography exhibition titled "Twelve Weeks in Hell – The Siege of Budapest on Castle Hill." The exhibition opened on Thursday along the ramp leading to the Gloriette at Várkert Bazár.
