New HUF 3 Billion Market Hall Opens in Pécs

After 18 months of construction, the new Ft 3 billion market hall in Pécs was opened by independent mayor Attila Péterffy on Friday.
The mall hosts 33 shops, 29 indoor pavilions, two outdoor pavilions, nearly 160 sales stalls indoors and 82 outdoors.
One of the most conspicuous innovations compared to the old hall is that there is now a food court.
The call for plans for the new market hall was announced in 2016.
