500 Programmes Announced for Valley Of Arts Festival this Summer
The Valley of Arts festival, Hungary’s largest all-arts festival held in three villages north of Lake Balaton between July 21 and 30, will feature some 500 performances spanning literature, theatre and music, organisers said.

The festival will continue its tradition of producing its own play, this year featuring Andrea Szulák, János Szemenyei and Csaba Jantyik in Goldoni’s Mirandolina, they said.

Other theatrical productions will include performances by Art-Színtér, Játékszín, the Csiky Gergely Theatre of Kaposvár and the Nézőművészeti Kft.

Vigándpetend will have a stage dedicated to circus arts, featuring Recirquel and other performers. The same stage will be home to dance performances and concerts by Zorán, László Dés, the Danubia Orchestra and others.

The Catholic church in Kapolcs will be the venue for classical concerts, featuring performances by Balázs “Dongó” Szokolay, the viola section of the Danubia Orchestra and the Budapest String Orchestra.

Taliándörögd will, among others, host concerts by Bea Palya, the Kerekes Band and Besh o droM.
