In the heart of the Inner City, the fair welcomes visitors who wish to wake up from their winter sleep with concerts, family and children’s activities, a craft fair and gastronomy specialties between 26 March and 18 April.

This year’s Budapest Spring Festival is held in a new location, Town Hall Park, all decorated with spring colours, where visitors can browse unique handicraft products and taste a whole range of easter-inspired food while sitting on the playful unconventional street furniture. During the opening weekend of the fair on 26 and 27 of March, there will be 8 concerts for fee within two days, with a list of performers available here.

The fairground commotion, the stands packed with unique craft products and the catering outlets offering culinary specialties will be available until 18 April. At the fair you can only see and taste quality Hungarian products, including traditional fair food and drinks as well as gastronomy specialties. A popular family set menu and a discounted HUF 1500 one-course meal, known from the Budapest Advent and Christmas Fair, are on the menu again.

There will be no shortage of programmes and events. Throughout the fair, you can visit an exhibition showcasing the finest pieces of the Decorated Egg Museum of Zengővárkony. Looking at the showcases, you can take delight in the tiny gems decorated with varied folk motifs, made with a variation of techniques.

Children can enjoy a free ride on a nostalgy merry-go-round, and at weekends, the fairground is converted into an Easter village where Easter themed family activities, children’s games and craft workshops offer joint entertainment for both parents and children.

Not only is nature becoming green and verdant this time of year, but Spring Fair will also green up this year. As a safe and environment-friendly solution, cashless payment is introduced in the entire area of the fair. Catering outlets will serve drinks in special reusable cups.

Between 26 March and 18 April everyone is welcome to Budapest Spring Fair, which offers a wide range of experiences, events, activities and specialties as well as the opportunity to meet each other and socialise for over three weeks!
