Yettel Launches Internet TV Service in Hungary
Yettel Hungary launched the pilot project for its internet-based TV services on Wednesday, the mobile service company announced.

New subscribers can enjoy 96 TV channels via streaming free of charge in the three-month trial period.

CEO Peter Gazik said the launch of Yettel TV is another milestone in the company’s long-term, mobile-focused strategy.

The network modernisation process that began two years ago, an investment of tens of billions of forints, created the possibility for the launch.

In addition to increasing the capacity of 4G technology, the availability of 5G technology is continuously being expanded, Gazik added.

The service can be connected to a TV using a TV Box, is available on mobile phones and tablets in the Yettel TV app, and on computers via the web interface.

In addition, apps that can be downloaded to smart TVs will soon be available.
